"We made the difficult decision to leave this property before spending even one night there. Our experience started badly when the host, who lives in another part of the property, greeted us with obvious frustration because she had waited about 30 minutes for our arrival. We had been driving from Florence and kept her updated throughout the trip with our ETA based on traffic, so this was not the welcome we expected.Once inside, we discovered that two of the four bedrooms are completely separate...

"Marco and Illaria were amazing. The views breathtakingly beautiful. We were sad to leave the peace and tranquility of this little gem. Dora was sweet and beautiful. Thank you again. We'll definitely be back"

Versilia Lido | UNA Esperienze

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was amazing. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and we could not have been happier with our experience. The front desk staff were absolutely fantastic. They were helpful, friendly, kind and generous with their time. The surrounding area around the hotel was manicured, the pool was beautiful and roof top restaurant is a must see. Thank you for a lovely time and making our anniversary something we will not forget."

Hotel Europa

10/10 Excellent

"From the airport taxi driver the hotel had organised for us, the warm welcome, our room ready early. The receptionist who gave us lots of info, all so helpful and careing. The room was very very large. There was a small balcony which we did find a little disappointing but that was all.Clean towels etc plus housekeeping daily. The breakfast was great and did not close till 10am. The pool was clean and bar service so good planty of loungers. We would recommend this hotel as a lovely place to stay. Its near the beach and just a taxi ride to the station for trains to Pisa and Florence"

Hotel Luca

10/10 Excellent

"This small hotel is real gem in a very good location just a short stroll from the beautiful beach of Camaiore. We travelled by motorcycle which we were able to park on hardstanding off the gravel courtyard. We were welcomed by the owner, a true Italian Nonna who could speak only a few words of English but that didn’t matter because we all understood each other nonetheless. She was very kind and helpful and showed us our room (20) which was probably the best in the building with a small balcony and distant sea view. It’s not a flashy hotel but it’s very homely and even has a lift and air con. Breakfast was typical Italian with lots of cake but also boiled eggs to keep us Brits happy. We loved this hotel and will definitely return if we come back to this region. Lido de Camaiore is a really nice resort and much less rowdy than its neighbour Viareggio. Wall to wall sunbeds on beach but we came in off season and it was just perfect."

Park Hotel Villa Ariston

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful hotel and a lot of parking, which is suitable for supercars. Swimming poo, breakfast sitting and the pool bar were excellent. The only disappointment was there was no coffee maker or a kettle in the room and the safe was very small, good to keep passports in but not much more. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would ho back again."

Villa Veranda, big private pool in relaxing green hills just 4 km from the beach

10/10 Excellent

"Just left the villa after a wonderful week - 8 adults of varying ages and 2 children aged 7 and 10. The outside space is lovely with the large and clean swimming pool on a lower level. We all truly enjoyed relaxing and playing here as weather hot. The accommodation is spacious and characterful. Everyone slept well and showers are good. The kitchen has plenty of equipment, although where items are stored could be set up more user friendly, but in no way did it detract from our holiday. We had BBQs, ate outside on the large veranda to gorgeous views and sunsets. The recycling is something else but that’s controlled by local regulations. Overall we were all sad to leave and lived our time there."

Beautiful house with swimming pool surrounded by greenery, modern, luxury finishes

8/10 Good

"Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in dem Haus. Innen top, leichte Abzüge gibt es für den Außenbereich/Garten - hier könnte man durch gezielten Einsatz das Objekt weiter aufwerten.Schnelle und angenehme Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber."

Hotel Bacco

8/10 Good

"Like stepping back in time this little gem. Art deco style building with classics features. Room basic but had what we needed except for the loudest fridge ever! Stayed 3 nights with towels only changed upon request and beds made but not changed. Pool small but perfectly formed, few beds but never got busy. Great location for the beach. We paid €12 for breakfast but not the best as items were not restocked it would appear so go before 9am."
