"We stayed in a classic room, which was spacious and comfortable. You can park at the front of the hotel to unload then move your car. Breakfast had a varied choice although slow with the tea & coffee. "

"Extremely tired re fixtures and fittings, decor dated, however our room was clean. No evening meals were being served in the hotel Monday to Friday, no notification prior to our visit. 20% discount given for evening meals at the Crecsent Hotel however a discretionary service charge of 12% was added to our bill without our knowledge. It was only when we asked for an itemised bill that we realised this had been added. Be aware!"

"The hotel.was ideally situated to explore Buxton. The area where the hotel was is lovely and quiet. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 1 night which usually means you get a small room but the room was a good size. The floorboards outside in the corridors are very creaky which kept us awake at times and had we stayed longer it would have disturbed our sleep but other than that I would definitely stay here again."

Excellent location where you can choose either to chill in the peace and quiet of the country like we did, or visit places easily such as Leek and Buxton. Facilities were spot on and really clean. "Great host, room spotless. Breakfast vegetarian and vegan, fantastic choice. My daughter who is dairy intolerant was delighted with choice that she had. Enjoyed the dolls dotted around. Most impressed with Spanish Armada tea pot!"
