"Good location clean comfortable hotel good value for money "

"Booked in, took one look at the room and left for the Travelodge. Quite used to basic but this was on a different level. Room not much bigger than a cell! Shame as they obviously tried to make a nice bathroom etc but still have tiny rooms that are stark. Quite disappointed- pictures don’t match the reality."

"Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again"

"Stayed here before. Feel comfortable and cosy here. Staff are always lovely and friendly. Breakfast is great, with vegan sausages and a good selection of hot and cold options. Always happy here. Only dislike is the entrance, but the rest is all good."

"Staff were lovely and could not do enough for you. The location is great as you are 5 mins from the station. The hotel needs updating and some money spent on it. "

"Helpful staff, but room wasn't the cleanest. Could do with a lot more surfaces being wipped down and bathroom wasn't in a great state. Can't complain with bedding. Breakfast was OK. "

"The hotel is I think one of if not, the oldest in Grimsby but comfortable, clean room. Good freshly cooked breakfast with lighter options. Warm friendly staff and always friendly and helpful. I only stayed one night but would stay again. Close to the station. 15 minutes."

"Stayed for a two week work trip. My room was cleaned daily with fresh tea , coffee and buiscuits. Food in the restaurant was lovely and was well looked after by staff. Had a comfortable room overlooking the golf course and have booked again for my next work trip. "
