Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy. We had a great time there. Claudia was very nice!. She gave us towels for the beach after we checked out and we were able to shower."

"We booked this very last minute because we decided at the last minute to visit Cinque Terre so I didn’t read too much about what it looked like. 1. The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "The area is amazing. The place was large enough for the five of us, two parents traveling with three teenagers. The air-conditioning worked great.
The only thing I did not like was the swimming in Vernazza…. Kind of murky and smelly. But, the apartment is awesome.

"Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Could not be more convenient to the train and the waterfront. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. Occasionally it could be noisy, as it’s on the hiking path, but it quiets down in the evening. It’s very small and there’s nowhere to hang wet coats/clothes after a rainy day, but hopefully most people enjoy it in good weather! "
"The property is conveniently located, but it is extremely small. I couldn’t even turn around in the shower. Also, it is very noisy. On one of the days we stayed there, there was a concert right below the unit’s balcony and it lasted very late during the night, which made it very hard for us to sleep. "

"We stayed July 13-16, 2025 and we were delighted with the service and friendliness of ALL the staff- they were like a second family. Andrea was very helpful, and accommodating and friendly. Let us have a choice of rooms, and made himself available at any hour. The room was nice, clean and big. The bathroom was also nice with the biggest and best shower of any place we stayed during our 2 weeks in Italy.
Very easy to access from the parking garages, quiet, clean and comfortable for a wonderful experience. If I ever make it back to the Cinque Terre I will definitely stay at Albergo Al Carugio again."
"Everyone was so nice and the property had lots of unexpected bonuses with fresh orange juice, water, sparkling water and pastries available any time. I also loved the fresh fruit bowl and cappuccino in the morning. The beach towels and bag was also a nice touch."

"This is a wonderful apartment! I simply can not say enough kind words about the hosts. Davide communicated so well before our stay- suggesting restaurants and things to do, options for getting to the home, and even offered assistance with our bags and taxis! We did the sunset cruise of the towns with Fish & Chill that Davide recommended and it was fabulous! The apartment is clean, cute and worked wonderfully for us. It is located right near many restaurants, the beach and train station. If there were more stars I would rate this higher! "
"This hotel was our favorite stay in our entire Italy trip. Very attentive staff: Claudia and Melania were very nice. Their breakfast was delicious. I would definitely come back to this hotel if we visit Cinque Terre again. I highly recommend Locanda A Cà Du Gigante! "
