"Nice room in an older building in a residential and business are. the neighborhood is so nice. At nite people walking everywhere and beautiful stores. Many restaurants everywhere. There is a be market around the corner that opens every morning at 5:00 a.m. and at noon they are gone. I was very comfortable and safe there as I traveled solo."

"Wonderful place to stay, fantastic location overlooking the sea. Paulo reserved a parking space for us and met us at the top of town to show us down to the property. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities including free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee and biscuits."

"We had issues contacting someone to get checked in but once we were in, the room was clean with the promised amenities. I will say the cups they provide for the tea disintegrate before you can finish your hot beverage so they might want to get some different cups or bring your own. The beds were ok in terms of comfort. "

"Unusual, just three double rooms and a small breakfast room, breakfast supervised by Daniel, the owner, so intimate. Room was good with a decent bathroom and good shower. Big bed, but not very comfortable and lumpy pillows. A lot of traffic noise; the property is on a main road. Bus stop right outside and supermarket next door. Daniel and his wife are attentive and friendly."

"A good place to stay for a couple of nights. It’s beautifully refurbished and v clean. Breakfast is nice too. It’s quite a walk into town or the train station, 30 mins or so, but there’s a a v good pizza place just down the road. We arrived mid afternoon which does not fit in with the hotels checking in hours, but after a phone call we were able to get in, much appreciated after a very long drive. "

"Great location. Right in the heart of things. Shops, restaurants, bars and beach nearby. The apartment is basic but comfortable and spacious. Cleaners came every day and replenished towels/toiletries etc. Only downside was the main bed was very soft and uncomfortable but that’s down to personal taste. "
