Right on the main drag of Via Roma in Vernazza. Cosy, cute and so comfortable. Check in was super easy thanks to the wonderful staff at Cinque Terre Riviera who made it all seamless including the lovely care package of coffees, cookies and cornetti. This studio is close to everything-train, harbor, hiking trails, restaurants, shopping, groceries...Would definitely book this again!

Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Could not be more convenient to the train and the waterfront. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. Occasionally it could be noisy, as it’s on the hiking path, but it quiets down in the evening. It’s very small and there’s nowhere to hang wet coats/clothes after a rainy day, but hopefully most people enjoy it in good weather!

WIFI IS NOT OFFERED HERE. This property does not have WiFi and cell service is nonexistent. If wifi is important to you, find another option. We didn't notice when booking that WiFi is not included, and it is listed that way so the fault is ours. But be warned that there is no wifi and no TV. The location is fantastic, other than being noisy from around 6am until after midnight. Noise from trash collection will wake you up at 6am and people walking by talking loudly will keep you awake until at least midnight. If you wear ear plugs and an eye mask you should be fine. The room itself was okay. The bed is firm, but not too bad. There's a small hair dryer and soap/shampoo are provided. There was a minor maintenance issue with the mini-fridge (it had leaked and left a puddle when we arrived) but the management fixed it quickly (even on a Sunday morning) as soon as they were notified. If the place had WiFi we would recommend it, but it did make for some major frustration since this was a brief stop during a work trip for us.

Overall this property was good/great: Location: Great — Although Vernazza is a small town so I suppose any property would be great. The property was just around the corner from the office you need to check-in at. Communication: Good — They did a good job in contacting me and providing necessary information for checking in, or in our case, late check-in. I do think they should provide late check-in information from the get go if they don’t hear back within 24 hours instead of waiting to see if you’ll arrive after their regular check-in time, which is 6pm. When you’re traveling and hopping around sometime the time changes from what you initially anticipated it to be. In our situation, our wifi wasn’t working at the hotel (not their problem) we were staying at prior to this stay, but luckily I was able to get some right before we were heading there. Had I not, I don’t know if we would’ve gotten the information we needed prior to arriving. They can use a little help in the amenities, a provided beach towel or separate towel to use at the beach would’ve been useful, since it is a beach town.

We really loved Vernazza and Rissu Nice Room. Vernazza was our favorite of the five villages. The sunsets while sitting in the piazza were amazing and so relaxing. The owner stayed late for us to be able to check in in person. However, another couple checked in right before us, so it took quite a while for him to walk them through town to their room and come back to help us. He was extremely helpful and friendly though. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be the shower. It had a hand-held shower head that would not stay in place on the wall. It was difficult to shower with it. It was also cold in our room and the heat had already been turned off, so we were a little chilly. We did end up finding extra blankets in the closet which were helpful with this problem. The room was very fitting for the location and we would definitely stay there again.
