"We had a great week here. The cottage is compact, but very well planned and laid out; everything you need is there and in good working order. The patio on the back is a good place to watch narrowboats on the canal, and the canal towpath (just outside the door) goes for miles on both directions, so it's great for walking. The front patio is in shade in the afternoon, so it's a nice place to sit on really hot days. There's a big Tesco a mile down the canal for shopping runs. Andy provided lots of detailed information. Just a lovely place -- highly recommended! We would love to come back."

"Had an amazing week at Cracken Cottage for the New Year, with family. The cottage was spacious and comfortable and lovely and warm and cosy. All of the bedrooms were a great size and very well presented. The lounge was a great area for relaxing there was lots of space for everyone. The Cracken Bar downstairs was a lovely place for food/drinks and Dale and all the staff very friendly and helpful - highly recommended. Fab that the dogs were welcome FOC too.A great base to explore the area with so much to offer. Overall very impressed and would love to stay again!"
