"We found everything at the resort to be excellent. We did not have time to take advantage of the pools and exercise equipment, nor some of the other facilities available. The restaurant buffet breakfasts were superb. However, we did not like the burgers, which were required by law to be well done."

"We just had one night here before catching the early ferry to Isle of Arran and it was perfect. Good location with allocated parking spot. Easy check in with clear instructions upfront. Well equipped room, nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. We had room 6 at the back, which was very quiet. Also convenient for eating out in town. Would recommend."

The Guesthouse is walkable to shopping areas in Largs, and the pier if catching ferries or the paddle steamer Waverley. Hosts are amazing and even parked my car for me.

A great stay. Yes, there is a walk between reception and the accommodation but it's not that bad (and it's good to have the restaurant / bar in a completely separate building.) Room was very comfortable and great value. No issues with noise. Breakfast was great. Will definitely be back!)

Not our most enjoyable stay at the Gailes unfortunately. This time round majority of the staff seemed miserable and we felt we were an inconvenience until our last morning when the staff at breakfast were a delight.
We ended up with extremely noisy people (we think they had friends from other rooms continue post wedding that was held there for drinks next to us), credit I did call staff and it seemed to quieten down half hour later. Unfortunately the fire alarm went off which we have no...
