"The staff were great..property is stunning. Spa facilities great. Food very good. The room we stopped in was a bit tired, I imagine it's one of the older ones..mattress was like sleeping on a Bouncy castle and the TV was very old to the point there was no clarity in the sound so it was just loud. "We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. The pool and fitness room were listed on Expedia as amenities, but these facilities are not owned by the hotel and require payment for use (after registering our complaint, we were given free passes). On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the wifi worked."
