"This is our second stay here. It's in a great position, close to Stratford but quiet, lots of outdoor space for the dog and lots of parking. The hotel is very dog friendly, staff, rooms, restaurant. Treats available and great dog menu option. As far as the decor is concerned, the hotel is clean but the decorating and finish leaves much to be desired. Although it's freshly painted, holes and cracks aren't filled, plaster patches aren't sanded... The final touch let's them down. The only problem we had was the noise from the room above. We were in the mews cottage, room 101. Up until 11.30pm there was constant banging above us and loud constant talking, even drowned out our TV! Oddly they seemed to leave at 11.30pm and heard nothing else."

"We stay several times a year at Crown Plaza, it has never once let us down on anything. Rooms are spotless as is the rest of hotel, bars and outside areas. Breakfast buffet has a wide and varied choice always fresh and hot equally there is a fantastic cold buffet too. Bars both inside and out are cheery and inviting. STAFF, a great big thank you to you all for making our mini breaks so restful, peaceful, enjoyable and special, you are a credit."

"Very quiet when visiting. It would be nice if on arrival the receptionist made eye contact and managed to have a welcoming tone, although this lack seems to be across most hotels I visit these days. The reception is actually in a different building to where the room was; thankfully the weather was dry, but if but had been raining that may have been more of a problem. You can follow the walkway from reception to the rooms, but there is no signage if you drive from the reception car park to a space nearer the bedrooms. The entrance to the building where the bedrooms is unsecured, so anyone walk in, so perhaps this could be looked at. The room appeared clean, although lots of spider webs in the corners and un-vacuumed under the bed; and also hair on the toilet seat. Quiet and peaceful view of a field. The walls are thin though; I could hear the man snoring next door. Breakfast was good, I asked for poached eggs and they were cooked quickly. Very nice building and surroundings, and despite the small things I would probably stay there again. Check out was straightforward. "
