They take a hundred dollar bond that they don't disclose... I was going to have spinal surgery the next day and they needed the bond which I had planned on going out to dinner with... Oh... And on top of that... Was the most discusting place I have ever stayed in...walls were gross food in sink... Had to ask for a kettle because the other 1 was rank... Spelt like urine and spew... Please don't go here and waste your money...

The property is quite run down and needs a good clean. All Air Conditioners are filthy and the gym smells very musty when you turn them on. Pool was dirty. Rooms are ok however there were dirty dishes in the cupboard, marks all over ceilings and walls, and hallways stink of cigarettes. No instructions given on how to check out early, or where to park while checking out.

Was a good price and location. Room was tidy enough and well looked after. The hall way was disgusting however, a fowl smell of faeces or nappies. The smell leaked into the room and was very off putting

Air cons were not working, and whenninchecked the filters inside they were so dirty and full of fluff and dust that’s it’s clean a routine clean hasn’t been performed on unit. 2 night stay without air con in brisbane summer wasn’t very appreciated! Aircons need to be maintained especially for price you pay

Terrible Staff, Manager. abusive, rude disgusted.
I paid for room they refused to give me check-in details. After arriving from Tasmania. Three police cars did U Turns out the front. While on hold to get check in details. After the Police did U Turns out the front & left. The person on the other end of the line, Of After Hours Check In. Refused to give me Check- In details. I also offered my card details for incidentals & /or Passport for deposit. There seems to be major Corruption in this Hotel. Also haven't received my refund. There was.no mention of needing a deposit on the Hotel.com App. The Manager is extremely rude, refused to listen & abusive after I returned the next day. I'd love to review the inside of Hotel but never got past the front desk. I'm still waiting for a Refund.

I stayed here a few years ago and it was brilliant. On this stay i have been charged twice and am still chasing the refund for their overcharge, room stunk from the mouldy bathroom and drains, lounge was falling apart and very stained. Bedside table was stained with cigarette burns and bedside lamp badly broken and not working. The whole apartment needed painting and refurbishing- not to mention a good clean. Dont stay here, look elsewhere.

We were happy that towels were replaced each day, however on the 2nd last day we received 2 towels that had faece stains on them! Aircon in bedroom was really loud and badly in need of maintenance.

We spent 2 weeks at Code Apartments and were pleasantly surprised after reading some of the comments about the safety of the area and the cleanliness. Mike and his staff were amazing and very attentive when we had questions. Pool is small but not used much by many so we had it to ourselves most days. Apartment is a 5 minute walk to Bowen Hills station and then 2 stops to Central Station which was convenient. Only downfall was the shower had a bit of mold and room smelled a bit when we got there but a spray of my perfume solved it quickly...lol We would definately stay there again when we are in Brisbane and would ask for #801 again....overlooks the front of the apartment for beautiful sunsets

You get what you pay for
Apartment was well priced and well located relative to the city, which should have been a bit of a flag. Inside the property seemed rundown with scuffed walls and old carpets. It had been cleaned on the surface but had issues like a grimy shower head and and stains on upholstry, stuff you may not notice right away. Staff were nice enough and helpful when i checked out early. If you just need a place to crash for cheap it'll do but if you want comfort and a good neighbourhood i wouldnt recommend

This is the second time I've stayed here. I have found each room to be clean, quite and comfortable. It had a microwave and an oven which I found very useful. I would definitely recommend and use them again

Overall was okay. Definitely could use a freshen up! The lounge chair was so dirty and worn out that all you could feel was springs!!! There was a constant sound of crickets in the aircon, even when it was off. The toilet brush was all rusty and there was only one teaspoon… both toilet rolls provided were half used, so in turn left us with one whole roll!!

Lordy... where do i start... First impression the place LOOKED tidy but the shower was in desperate need of a clean, and a mop. The pot in the kitchen draw was dirty, kettle has sediment in the bottom of it, it smelt musty and mouldy, couch arm was broken and seat was like having a spring up your bum, the water from the shower sprayed all over the bathroom so that wehn you exited the shower it was incredibly slippery, the aircon stopped working and would heat up in the middle of the night which would leave you over heating at 3am, we went out to the pool area for a swim at 8pm and one of the key cards had stopped working leaving us outside for an hour WET then when we were able to contact the property manager they said someone was coming shortly to help us back into our room and it took them 45MIN while soaking wet to let us back into our room. Not worth the money just disgusting basically...

Underwhelming. Check in was disappointing. Late check out was not available due maintenance. Room was dark and tired. Balcony was locked and had to follow up twice before opened. Shower needed a good clean. Not what I was expecting.
