"Check in process needs improved. Room should have been ready at 3 but it wasn't. So after 4 I asked again and they were able to put us in a different room (same type) that was ready. I'm not sure why they didn't do this in the first place. Also, right at prime check in time between 3-4 pm, 2 out of the 3 front desk workers left/went on break leaving Grace alone. This happened on both check in day and check out day which are the only two times I went to the front desk. She kept a smile among the very long line. I felt bad for her. Also there was a lot of garbage and towels left by the pool area unfortunately from messy guests. One day, the workers went home and plates of food were just left at the pool chairs and never picked up. I picked up trash around the pool area hoping it would not blow into the ocean. Overall, the property is very nice and I would stay there again, but definitely pack your patience for the front desk and don't expect your room to be ready on time."

"We had an absolutely wonderful time at this fabulous cottage. It is as neat and clean as can be, it had everything we needed, and it’s incredibly comfy. We never wanted to leave the lanai; it is just so lovely. Except of course, to go to the beach, which is so close you can hear the waves crashing from the house. We were grateful for the beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach towels, and even some snorkel equipment, so that we didn’t need to rent. Our host was wonderful—helpful and communicative—and her written guide at the house is thorough and very useful! The art on the walls is lovely. Here’s something you rarely see in a rental: actually sharp kitchen knives! It was a delight to cook in the well-stocked kitchen and on the high quality gas grill. We love-love-loved our week here, and would definitely stay here again!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful house!"

"Don's house is exactly as described. Perfect location, nice clean house with good ac in the bedrooms. Hot tub was great to have! Also he has a bunch of beach stuff, at least 6 chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, and most important, a wagon to haul it all in! Will definitely stay here again. It really is a great house in the best location. Also access to the poipu athletic club is a huge bonus, my wife worked out there every morning and we went to their pool a few times as well."

"This was the best place we have stayed at as a family on the island (this was our third visit). The cottage is very charming, well maintained, clean and clear of clutter, and the kitchen was well appointed. We used the outdoor shower everyday and enjoyed evenings playing board games on the lanai. Brent was very responsive whenever we had a question. We will definitely stay here again."
