Blanco is a small, quiet town. I was there for an annual bike ride ride sponsored by the Real Ale brewery, which is awesome. Great facilities and a really nice outdoor area in the trees with picnic tables, a pizza and barbecue vendor.
"The staff called early in the evening to verify our arrival time as they don't have a 24/7 front desk. They have carports to park in if your vechile fits and cute front sitting areas. The room was more spacious than we expected and the bathroom was vert nice. Plenty of room and the area was very quiet. "

"In a town without many hotel options the Blanco River Hotel is stellar. I could not believe the size of the room. The pool is very nice with nice evening lighting and a waterfall. The breakfast is also better than most and unusual to be included in a hotel this nice. So close to town square with many great choices for food. Also the Blanco river is a minute away and a great place to visit."
