Secluded Hill Country Oasis: Pool, Spa, Sauna and Stargazing

"The house was on acreage with fun outdoor amenities, including the pool and hot tub. Check in and check out processes were very easy and smooth. The house was very clean. Unfortunately, there were issues with the house that the owner was aware of but had not addressed nor made me aware of prior to our check in. The biggest issue was one of the doors to the Jack-n-Jill bathroom would not close, so privacy was a huge concern. There was a large piece of tape over the door jamb, which was an indication that the issue had been identified. It is a sliding door, so its repair would require removal of it from the track, so clearly a bigger task, but we should have been notified of this. We ended up finding a blanket that was able to be hung, but it was less than ideal. The other issue was the top rack of the dishwasher was broken and hanging off, so we had to hand wash our dishes throughout our stay. Not a huge deal, but we did find out that the owner was already aware of it but again, no notification. We also could not find an appropriately working coffee maker. There is a Keurig, so we brought K cups, but it would not turn on. There was a drip carafe that was missing the lid, and the only workable option was a tiny drip carafe. The management did communicate well regarding this and dropped off a replacement machine but not until the last full day of our stay. We also got a gift card to a local coffee shop. Overall, enjoyable stay but disappointed in lack of notification of issues."

"Amazing sunrise views from the patio! The place was exactly what we needed for a peaceful stay in the hill country and close to everything we wanted to do and see. It was remote enough to see wildlife and sooo many stars but still very convenient to other towns. Communication was extremely easy. the place was very clean. There were a couple of little things to be addressed but nothing that interferred with our stay and again communication was top notch. And was stocked with all you could need in the kitchen. would absolutely recommend and stay here again. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!"

"The house was clean and family friendly. Also whenever I had questions the host was very friendly and quick to respond. The location was out in the country side and it was peaceful. The only things that would have been helpful to know before was that the driveway was washed out and if our car had been lower to the ground it would have been impossible to get to the house. And also the address for the house doesn’t come up on Apple or Google Maps. There are directions provided on the welcome email but having miles to go with the directions would have been helpful."

"The house was perfect for a romantic getaway with my husband. It had everything we needed. The views were outstanding. The pool stayed cool in the 100 degree heat which made a perfect midday swim. The hottub was great at night when it cooled down. Will definitely would book this place again!"
