"We booked the entire property for a gathering of friends and it was perfect! The Ranch House is gorgeous, with plenty of room for everyone to gather. The wraparound porch gave space for folks to spread out, and the cabins allowed space for people to get away from the crowd when need be. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped, and made meal preparation easy. There are two refrigerators, so plenty of room for food and drink. Our one complaint is that the description on the VRBO website was a bit confusing., and the information we got from the management company was not always accurate. We had our dog with us, which we clearly stated when we made the reservation. However, we learned at the last minute that the Ranch House is not pet friendly, only cabin #1 is pet friendly. Fortunately, she was perfectly happy sleeping on the porch, but it would have been better if the pet policy was described better. The grounds are large and there are fire rings with chairs at each group of three cabins. We asked about the availability of firewood and were told there wasn’t any, that we would have to bring our own.In fact, there is quite a lot of firewood in stacks which we were told by a maintenance worker we could use. We did not book the event barn, so I cannot comment on that, but it looks quite nice from the outside. Overall, we were completely satisfied with our stay at RusTX ranch, and everyone had a wonderful time."

"We arrived and found several issues and called the management team. The hot tub was broken, and would not be fixed for our stay, which was one of the reasons we booked this property. The kitchen was dirty. We found dead bugs, dust, and dirty dishes. The furniture was worn out, like the leather had all rubbed off on the chairs! The table on the deck was broken and a piece was hanging off. This property is in serious need of a refresh. the photos must be old. "

"The cabin was cozy and in a great location, with easy access to Wimberley and nearby towns. The property had wonderful amenities, and the communication from the host was outstanding throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely stay here again!"

"The communal area was so fun for the kids! The hot tub wasn’t the cleanest even after shocking the water multiple times and the coffee pot took nearly an hour to brew one pot which over brewed the grounds. If you are a coffee lover, consider bringing another method to brew. Other than that, the house was cute, clean, and perfect for our little getaway!"
