"We booked a "Family Room" in this very nice, simple looking hotel in the Dordogne Valley. The couple running the place was very nice and welcoming. Although the hotel lobby and hallways were nice, clean and simple, we were extra pleasantly surprised by our room! It had a very nice layout, with a newly renovated bathroom, and a giant loft space for kids - including 2 twin beds and a couch (3rd bed). "Truly beautiful setting, wonderfully elegant. Dining on the terrace with hot air balloons floating on the horizon- so picturesque. Wonderful place. Indoor and outdoor pools provide excellent relaxation. Many good restaurants nearby, but we were happy breakfasting and dining at the chateau. "

If you come by car note you cannot get close to the hotel and need to park on Av Charles de Gaulle. Also suggest staying Saturday morning where the whole ciry is taken over by an incredible market selling food, souveniers and many things."
