"Lovely stay in Sarlat. Very close to shops and dining in town"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel,the staff were very friendly especially Eric who was in charge of the breakfast which was very good, it’s in a great location and is in walking distance of shopping areas and some very good restaurants which were recommended by the hotel, there’s a very atmospheric square where we enjoyed a drink after dinner and listened to some live music "

"Pros - beautiful junior suite very comfy bed , lovely gardens and pool , stylish property Cons - having paid nearly €400 for a room I expected to be be able to reserve a table in their Michelin * restaurant- this is why we booked / unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked so this was not possible - gutted ! They did recommend a restaurant locally which we tried and it was the worst meal of our trip :( So please check restaurant availability before you book a room "

"We loved this beautiful guesthouse and our gracious, welcoming hosts. Nelly’s jams and Franck’s yogurt were a delight at breakfast. If you are staying in Sarlat, try to stay here. It is a bit removed from the medieval city, though only a few minutes by car, or an easy walk. We really appreciated the peace and quiet. "

"Expedia sells this as a 3-star hotel. This is a vacation rental property with no frills. When we landed at the property at 7:30pm, they had left the chalet open with the key in the door (that at least, they communicated with us about), the bed unmade, and no soap or amenities to talk about. When I messaged them, they said that this was a holiday rental property and not a hotel and they did not do beds or provide soap etc. I am not sure how to trust Expedia and their rating system after this....

"I had a good experience at this place. I definitely recommend this place, for me it was all about how quiet, comfortable and close to Sarlat- La Caneda my favorite city in France. Thank you very much for the delicious breakfast. I will definitely be coming back. "
