"Lovely house, extremely well equipped and clean. Fantastic pool and hot tub. Andy and Uliana were very helpful but not intrusive. We ate at two restaurants in Meyrals which were very good, also Sunday lunch at Aberge Medieval in Audrix, about a 15 minute drive away, was outstanding. Highlight of the week for food was Dimitri cooking for us, it was delicious, plentiful and no more expensive than eating out. We can highly recommend Les Hirondelles!"

Cottage Roussille in Mompazier

"The property was lovely, very clean with all the equipment you need for a stay. The pool area was great. The owners were really helpful and communicative, they went out of their way to help us with things for our baby and we’re always very friendly when we saw them near the property. The place is about 30mins walk to the town which is doable but it is up a hill on the way back! All the nearby towns and area and lovely with lots of great wine tasting and restaurants. All the medieval towns are...

La Maison Escande - Maison Historique Sarlat Centre
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (16)
"What a beautiful region & remarkable home! My family of 4 spent two weeks in this city’s most enchanting, most photographed medieval cottage & loved our stay. The home is quiet at night, beds were comfortable, washer & toilet on ground floor were convenient & fans for cooling were provided. We enjoyed the small patio for morning coffee & it was so nice to step out the door & have all of Sarlat at our feet. Or within 15 minutes be in another perfectly preserved voted ‘most beautiful’ medieval...

LOU MIYA - Gîte Périgourdin 5kms from SARLAT, Air-conditioned, Jacuzzi
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (25)
"Tout est neuf, propre et aménagé de goût. Les différentes terrasses sont un plaisir, car on peut toujours se mettre au soleil ou à l’ombre. L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter les sites importants du Périgord noir. Le seul petit bémol : on pourrait fournir sel, poivre, pq, sac de poubelle, produit pour le lave-vaisselle etc. pour un petit supplément. Ainsi on ne serait pas obligé de courir toute de suite au supermarché, surtout quand on arrive tard le soir."

"We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful house. The surrounding area is stunning and we had a truly relaxing holiday. We particularly loved the extendable awning over the table in front of the house as it allowed us to eat all of our meals outside but shaded from the sun"

Hotel Montaigne
3.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (109)
"The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was a bit difficult, but was just as it had been described. Our only complaint was the old wooden support beams in our room (room 36). In both the bedroom and the bathroom, these supprt beams took up room and were low enough for a tal person to need to stoop down to pass them. Ii guess it's the charm of modern retrofitting of an older structure. "
