"This hotel is a quaint little gem. From the moment we walked in, we were instantly comfortable and knew we were in a special place. The website says each room is thoughtfully curated - you can choose your unique room when you book online. Our room was cozy chic with a comfy bed, pillows, a Dyson fan, heated floors in the bathroom - other than being a bit small, the room was great. "The staff was very helpful, gave us a lot of suggestions to local food and drinks. The location was brilliant, right next to downtown Carmel and 8min walk to beach. They also serve breakfast to your door around 8 am daily, which is delicious and has balanced ingredients. My only complaint is the soundproofing was poor, you can easily hear the voice in the next room. Fortunately everyone was mostly quiet during my stay."

"The bed was comfy. The room was very clean. We walked in the bathroom and could smell bleach which is a good thing. Housekeeping was so nice. We asked for a fan and they found one for us. The location was convenient. Everything was walking distance or you could take the trolley for free to Fisherman's Wharf. The restaurant makes the best breakfast sandwich. The restaurant staff was attentive and nice. The restaurant was very clean. The only drawback was that we stayed in room 262. It faced the street. So on Saturday night it was so loud that we didn't get much sleep. Do not stay in a room that faces the street. The next day was quiet and we were well rested. All the staff was nice and helpful. From the valet to the bellman. "
