So very welcoming from the beautiful Victorian design and remodeled rooms to the wonderful staff with whom we have become friends, and the delectable hot breakfasts every morning! And in the sleepy town of Pacific Grove, so very relaxing! Perfect place for a composition retreat! And just blocks from the waterfront with crashing waves and sea life!!

The house itself is beautifully maintained, with elegant period details and inviting common areas that add so much character. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully decorated, featuring a comfy bed, a fireplace, and a clawfoot tub that made evenings feel extra special. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the nearby Monterey Bay Aquarium and scenic 17-Mile Drive. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast served each morning — fresh fruit, homemade pastries, and a warm entrée, all enjoyed in a bright and cheerful dining room. In the afternoon, the wine and hors d’oeuvres made for a lovely touch, encouraging guests to slow down and relax. The location is ideal — just a short stroll from the beach, charming downtown Pacific Grove, and minutes from Carmel and Big Sur.
