"This property was charming and quaint. For us two sisters wanting two separate beds, only the 3rd level attic type room was available, which entailed walking up 2 sets of stairs and the last one pretty steep. This was not quite relayed to us when booking. The property has two big pluses: it is only a quick walk to the Main street with lots of nice restaurants and shops AND only 10 minutes to the majestic Luray Caverns. Not sure if because of the time of year, but the patio was not cleaned...

"The grounds were not well-maintained. Grass was tall, in need of cutting, two dead decorative shrubs at the entrance of the door, large tree limbs on the roof and on the property grounds, would’ve liked to have enjoyed the gazebo, but the path was overgrown, needed mulching, gazebo not clean to sit in. "Lovely condos. We enjoyed our brief stay to golf (beautiful course). The scenery is beautiful (fall) Only negatives we found it hard to find where to check in because we went to the chair lift first. Signage wasn’t great to get back to check in location and the condo furnishings needed to be dusted. Additionally some on site restaurants aren’t opened on Sunday and Monday, the days we were there"

"Location is very convenient to exploring the Shenandoah area. Property has a walking path, part of it goes along the river, which was really nice. Enjoyed the peace & quiet, stayed in late October, so sure it’s not as peaceful during the summer months. The Airstream was great for the 2 of us, but it would be more helpful if hooks for hanging things or fold down shelves were added in some of the areas. Maybe install a shelf for the microwave and then campers would have some counter space. It would also be great to have a toaster, an electric burner, 2 plates & 2 bowls to go along with the 2 cups. I suggest that the description be more detailed in the explanation of the amenities offered in each specific type of lodging. For instance, I realized after checking in that the Airstream doesn’t have some of the amenities mentioned during the booking process & when reading the checkout instructions that were emailed it made me think the Airstream offered multiple additional amenities. It should be clearly stated that parking is not directly on your reserved site; the pictures show a concrete pad, which resembles a parking space. Also, seems like the location of the thermostat causes incorrect temperature readings. It would be helpful to have a list of tips & tricks or directions for certain things, like the light switches, the hot/cold water, thermostat which offers electric or gas heat. We really did enjoy our stay, just sharing some thoughts to help with being more transparent."

"This inn is old and historic. Passed down through many generations. It was interesting and Uncle Charlie’s room was comfortable. Breakfast was good not until 9am. They now have a full time live in innkeeper which is helpful. Convenient to Vineyards/wineries, JMU, Massanutten and breweries. The beautiful Shenandoah valley can’t be beat for scenery!"
