Top Bern Hotel Reviews

Hotel Savoy Bern

Hotel Savoy Bern

10/10 Excellent
"Hotel Savoy Bern is an awesome place, in a prime location next to the main train station in the old downtown. It is very clean, quiet and most importantly the air conditioning works. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful with anything you need. The only downside at this point I would say it’s breakfast should be included in the price, not $27 per person per day extra. We decided to not pay for the breakfast as there are plenty of other options nearby."

Sorell Business Hotel Ador Bern

Sorell Business Hotel Ador Bern

"This hotel is close to the Bern main station (about 7 minutes walk). Safe neighborhood, very friendly staff, and breakfast has a wide variety of options of cheeses, pastries, and other Swiss foods. I will definitely come back to this hotel in the future trip to Switzerland."

Hotel Bären Am Bundesplatz

Hotel Bären Am Bundesplatz

10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay for four nights with our two kids! The hotel has a fantastic location- very close to the main square, shops, restaurants, and the river (but without being too chaotic or noisy). The staff was very nice and helpful. The communal drink area is very nice to be able to access all day. I also appreciated having laundry and ironing facilities. The only tiny downside was that the dryer didn't really work- things were still wet after 2+ hours. All in all, we had a great time and can't wait to come back!"

Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa

Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"This is just an amazing hotel in the perfect location--right at the entrance to the old city and directly adjacent to the train station. Our room was clean and well appointed, and I can't say enough about the staff, especially the desk clerk who helped us figure out the Aare swimming logistics, She even provided us with a hotel branded dry bag for floating down the river. My only comment is that the AC was not that strong, but the staff did provide us with a supplemental AC unit which cooled the room down considerably. HIGHLY recommend !"

Novotel Bern Expo

Novotel Bern Expo

8/10 Good
"Hotel was lovely, great location, nicely decorated, helpful staff, delicious breakfast, very nice shampoo/soap (Rituals). The only thing to improve is having a sink in the bathroom and adjustable temperature in the room. We put the temperature on the lowest setting (20C) and we found it incredibly warm and would cutoff in the middle of the night making it even warmer. We were visiting Bern for a few days so it was manageable."

Holiday Inn BERN-WESTSIDE by IHG

Holiday Inn BERN-WESTSIDE by IHG

8/10 Good
"First of all, the front desk staff are awesome. Super friendly and helpful. But then it starts to get worse. Daily room cleaning manages it to put 1 towel inside for 2 visitors, and manages it to replace 2 towels with 1. Previously, BernAqua was included, now you have to pay. Overall, every year the service is getting lower and lower. Max a 3-star hotel, no free gym available anymore. The quoted prices were over 250 CHF; for that price, I can definitely expect more. We moved for the second part of our stay in Bern to another hotel in the city."
