The hotel was nice enough and in a great location, but room was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in for a high end hotel. It was advertised as no view, which I assumed was a view of a parking lot or maybe another building. But beware no view means no window to the outside. I have never heard of such a thing. Plus the bed was against the wall so I had to climb over my husband to get in and out of bed, I felt like a child camping. It was claustrophobic ruined our stay. The shower leaked and we flooded the bathroom. I asked for a different room, but the hotel said they were sold out.

The hotel is really nice has very nice ambience. We were able to walk up and down along the river to the old town. The tram is running every five minutes so it’s very convenient. Really nice charming city breakfast was great. Not sure about the other dining options because we didn’t there. Not sure about going to the casinos is a good idea because it just has rooms and rooms of slot machines of every kind kind of depressing only a few tables. So if you’ve been to Las Vegas, don’t bother to go to the casino.

Reasonably priced hostel with the basics you'd need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was just okay, not amazing as some if the reviews would make you think - they had a decent selection of breads and cheeses, and some healthy options like yogurt, flax seeds, chia seeds, but no fresh sliced fruits and veg. The main reason for rating this a bit lower is that I think the bedsheets/bedspreads in our room were infested with dust mites (there were no visible bugs). My husband and I woke up several times due to severe itchiness, we even developed some rashes that went away after an hour or so. We've never had this problem with any other place we stayed at in our Europe trip (and we stayed at 8 different hotels/hostels).

First of all, I arrived at the room, it was extremely small, but the weirdest thing is that the window overlooked the interior of the hotel... so I had no views to the outside, which was EXTREMELY claustrophobic... I asked to change rooms, and I was charge around 30 euros for the upgrade on the category... which is crazy to me, but honestly it was something i had to do.... I was traveling with friends, and they had a baby, it was very hard for them to find a microwave to heat up their bottle at night... Other than that, this is a very standard hotel, and honestly it doesnt reflect the famous swiss hospitality.

Nice clean hotel. Close to centre. The only problem was there was a network outage issue on our first night. Meaning there were no internet, the car park gates didn’t work and the room keys went defunct.
