"The staff was super friendly and helpful. They even decorated our room for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway. The rooms are very nice, modern and love the full size kitchen and BBQ pits outside. The lodge is close to stores, local resteraunts and even several bars and dance halls. Definitely a five stars in our books."

"We had a great time at this beautiful house and enjoyed the property overall. However, there were a few issues worth mentioning for future guests.The location pin on the VRBO listing was inaccurate, and when we asked about the closest boat ramp, we were directed to one about 10 minutes away, despite there being one next door. The house guide, which was tucked away in a drawer, contained helpful information about boat restrictions due to a low bridge that would have been great to receive before arrival. We also encountered a few maintenance issues: we found only three of the four listed hair dryers, the downstairs bathroom outlets were finicky, and the over displayed an error code that required resetting the breaker. Our biggest disappointment was the advertised seven-bedroom layout. The bunk areas did not have doors, and one was more of a pass-through space than a separate bedroom. We felt this was mis-leading, especially when planning sleeping arrangements for a large group. Overall, its a beautiful property with a lot to offer, and we had a wonderful time. Addressing these issues and providing more accurate information about the bedroom layout would make the experience even better for future guests."

"This house was perfect for our group which was 8 adults and 10 kids. There was so much to do between the lake, pool, kayaking, paddle boarding, playing ping pong and cornhole. The inside of the entire house was very clean and all the appliances, including the grill outside worked perfectly. We didn't make much use of the pool table and shuffleboard since there was so much to do outside. But it's always nice to have indoor options in case it rains! This might not be a huge win for other families but for us, the THREE refrigerators were so nice to have since we cooked all our meals. The location is great because you can put in an HEB order at either the Kingsland or Marble Falls location and have it delivered within range. Highly recommend a boat rental for the day. The house comes with a boat slip so was really convenient to dock the boat in and out. Plus, the lake is large enough to go tubing!A few things that would have been nice to have:-Beach towels: Very little amount compared to the capacity of the house. -Life jackets: Minimal amount of adult and kids compared to how many kayaks and paddleboards were available. -Essential Cooking Ingredients: We got by just fine but would be nice to have some of the basics like cooking oil, salt and pepper, etc. We will definitely be coming back to Kingsland!"

"We rent VRBO home regularly for our family getaways and this was one of the best we’ve ever had. The home was perfect for our family, was VERY clean, well maintained, and had a well-equipped & organized in the kitchen. The management company was very responsive and provided helpful information about the community. Our kudos to them for taking such care in managing this owner’s property. The boat dock and waverunner slip was great and kept our boat and waverunner safe & handy. The boat house had toys for our granddaughters so the kids had a blast and basically lived in the water. It was a wonderful way to spend the last weekend of summer. There is also the friendliest bobtail cat that came by every morning and evening to visit the little girls. They were in love with the home and the kitty. Thank you allowing us to borrow your home for making family memories."
