"The beach view was great. The beachfront has impressively nice sand and it was so nice to have the sand and the river right out the back door. The two living area PLUS the screened porched gave lots of space. Great view from inside and outside. Well appointed with kitchen and bath supplies.We stayed over New Years and recommend the location even for a winter get away since the views were so nice. Great base for locations to state parks. "

"Beautiful home with plenty of space to spread out. Even with 8 people in the house. Very well kept and stocked with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, and other things to alleviate eating out every day. Host was nice and very responsive. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone. "Our large, multigenerational family absolutely loved our stay at LBJ Lodge. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained. It is even better than the amazing photos. The gathering spaces indoors and outdoors are open and welcoming. Even though there is only one oven, the convection feature worked beautifully. A second refrigerator was a pleasant and welcomed surprise in the fun and large game room. Bedrooms are luxuriously appointed and comfortable. A walk-in closet is provided for the bunks in the shared space. So much to do around the property for all ages. The wading pool was perfect for younger children, while older children and adults loved the water slide and rope swing into the lake. Our youngest fisherman caught and released a lot of fish! We enjoyed s'mores and worship songs around the outdoor firepit, encircled by the beautifully lit swimming pool. It is hard to find words to describe what an extraordinary time we enjoyed here! We were supported throughout our stay by the Guest Experience Team, even on weekends and over the holidays. Small issues discovered along the way were quickly addressed by property managers, often with on-site visits to assess and/or fix the situation. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and professional. We are seriously considering booking this property again! "

"The house is great, even better than the photos. It was perfect for our group plus super clean and great condition. Home layout was convenient for our family. The amenities were perfect; pool gameroom, well appointed kitchen, kayaks, paddle boards were just some of the luxuries. They thought of everything.
