"The facility is kind of dated but the location is good if you do not have a car and use public transportation. M2 and S25 bus stop is near by. Furniture is old but quite clean as matter of fact. You can walk to Beitou library, Hot Sprint museum and Hot Spring Valley in 10 minutes."

"We had a superb experience staying at The Grand Hotel in Taipei. Among hotels of similar level, this one stands out for its thoughtful service and attention to detail. The staff were consistently warm and helpful — from the front desk and concierge to the transportation team, restaurant servers, cleaning staff, and luggage attendants. Everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of. What impressed us most was how comprehensive the services were. The hotel helped us arrange taxis, airport shuttles, and even a private driver for a day trip outside of Taipei, which was the highlight of our stay. They also offer on-site currency exchange, which was very convenient. The hotel itself is true to its name — grand in design, well-maintained, and very clean. There's a real sense of history and elegance throughout the property. For the level of comfort and service provided, we felt the price was more than fair. It was excellent value for the experience we had. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-run place to stay in Taipei. "
