"The hotel is clean, but it's time for renovations, the staff is good, the room is clean, the bathroom is clean, but the water in the bathroom drained poorly, but overall everything is good, praise the Lord!"

"Group of four, two couples. We enjoyed the rooms, property & atmosphere that was set up. Pauline & her family are quite friendly! Theyre very hospitable, especially Major the cat. We had unfortunate luck with the dishwasher/sink leaking but they were quick to address it, almost instantly! Fantastic hosts & so thoughtful. Plenty of clean towels, supplies, etc. The property is a quite beautiful, lots of flowers & cozy spots to hang out in. Exit the parking space off Goldstream the property entrance is to the right in the beautiful arch of overhanging wisteria, with illuminated steps leading down. The first door you see is not your rental (That is Pauline's home, above the unit) but further down the next flight of stairs to the right. Throughout the mix of plants and charming things is wonderfully done. We saw grapes, apples & more. Inside there is a bit of a difference in privacy for the two bedrooms. The one bedroom with the beautiful view does not have a traditional door, more of a room cover in the form of a sliding barn door to divide the room, entrance way/livingrm & kitchen. It's aesthetically pleasing but does not provide much privacy as sound travels in and out of the room easily. e.g walking around / entering/exiting the unit. Exiting the unit door to your left leads to two more sets of stairs & a walkway with roses, mind the thorns, & a cat pee smell lol! Down at the docks there are many activities for relaxing on the waterfront & in/on the water! We would go again!"

"Absolutely loved our stay! The suite was even more beautiful than the pictures, and fully stocked with everything we needed… it made the stay so much easier! Didn’t need to buy anything. We really appreciated the free laundry and dishwasher. Beautiful view out the front windows and equally gorgeous interior. We used the pull out couch for my husband and I, and with the available padding added onto the pull out you would never know we were on a couch, it was extremely comfortable! The hosts were also super friendly and easy to connect with.All around an amazing stay (my daughter called it “the dream home”) and if we ever make it back to Victoria we will absolutely be booking this location again!"
