"The room was decorated tastefully and was warm and welcoming. All the staff were friendly but professional. There is plenty of parking. The hotel is very popular and we can see why."

"The lady on check in was really nice and helpful , we didnt use the bar . Ample parking for overnight stays and the room was brilliant too. My only concern which didn't really bother us was the bath was slippy when showering. We'd definitely stay again 10 out of 10 from us ."

"It was as good as it could be. Clean, tidy and a nice cottage. We just found the road noise really bad and we had an accident in our car trying to park in the driveway as it wasn't an easy parking space. The steps down from the driveway was much steeper than I envisaged. Appreciate this is something the owner can't do much about. Being an older couple we should have found something a bit quieter and on the flat."

"We had a lovely stay in the cottage. It was just right for the two of us. We were happy with every aspect of the accommodation inc its location which was convenient for the town centre.Only one thing in the description i noticed was it said a super king size bed. We have one of those and the one here is not a super king but a king size. Not a problem though.It was a great few days overall.Thank you."

"A perfect location to visit the Peak District. Literally a 5 minute walk into Bakewell village. Cottage had everything we needed and a lovely little garden to sit out in. Beds were so comfortable!"
