"Apartment very well appointed, very comfortable . Communication with the host was excellent , we had a slight problem and couldn’t get the tv to work which she soon sorted out. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it ."

"Lovely apartment with a very comfy bed . Area is beautiful and with the mill being next to the Monsal trail the position was perfect for us. Good games room available for anyone not tired enough after walking and the apartment had smart to if you just want to chill. Only a couple of things that stopped this being a 5 star rating for us. Firstly the two sofas are very uncomfortable so not good for relaxing on and secondly the windows could not be opened due to a fault which the owner knew about. If they know about a problem they should get it fixed but as this apartment is actually for sale it made us wonder if very little repair work was ever going to be done. It was a very hot couple of days so no fresh air was not good. "
"The perfect location for a stay in the Peak District, with arguably the best view from a pub garden anywhere in the UK? Perfect for a family of four, with all rooms well furnished and a generous kitchen and lounge set up. Great for self-catering, but the food in the pub downstairs was good stuff. Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are all inside a 20-minute drive, and you can simply pop hiking boots on and start over the back fence of the beer garden for a good walk. Taddington Village is lovely.

From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by its storybook setting, surrounded by rolling Hills, wildflowers, and the soft sound of the River Wye. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained, blending, rustic character with thoughtful modern touches. You can tell every detail from the cozy fireplace to the well stocked kitchen was arranged with care.We enjoyed coffee in the garden out front every morning. It was so peaceful. We didn’t want to leave the property. Staying at Rose cottage was everything we hoped for and more. A special mention to the owners who are in incredibly warm, responsive and easy to reach whenever we had a question. They made us feel genuinely welcome and it was clear. They truly care about their guest experience."
