"Historic area. Modern looking inside the hotel. A lot of character . Diner was great I loved the view ! The waiter and waitress were wonderful! Very friendly and good service. "

"Room was very clean and quiet; beds were very comfortable; hotel was very easy to get to - right off the highway but no highway noise at all; gas station right in front of the property made gassing up in the morning easy. I wish there had been a restaurant within walking distance but the one that was recommended was good and wasn't too far away. Wallpaper in the bathroom needs to be replaced. "

"Beautiful Hotel with so much character. Rooms and bathrooms were immaculate, seemed recently renovated. Breathtaking view of bridge and waterfall in the back. Also very close to town with great dining options, I definitely recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!"

"The staff was wonderful! Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful all the way to the general manager. The room was lovely, elegant and quiet. We stayed there to catch the train back to Penn Station and it was perfect. The hotel is an old candle factory, hence the name “The Wick” and the decor pays homage to that fact. If you are looking for a quiet, lovely hotel this is the place. Others have mentioned the lack of a view, but the hotel itself makes up for that!"
