This is an island style inn with only 6 rooms on the 2nd floor (at least this is what I saw) which are nice and clean. All the ladies who work in the hotel are the sweetest people you will ever meet. Try the pancakes with their signature coconut syrup/jam. Keep up the great work ladies and keep smiling:)
Located in central Apia, walking distance from everything in the capital. Hotel is quiet and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay for the budget minded traveler.
Talofa Inn is an interesting place. It has zero curb appeal. Zero. It is accessed through a small crowded lot on the side of a building in a commercial area. But it's clean and pleasant once you climb the front stairs, and friendly. I had a small room. AC and fan worked great. I was comfortable enough. I appreciated how efficient the staff was in arranging my ride to the airport. So it was very good value and a solid place to stay if (a) you want to be in Apia; and (b) the larger hotels are full (as they often are) or (c) you want to save a little money. Maybe my only complaint is that they gave me two Wifi codes -- one of which never worked and the other which was maxxed out very quickly. But it was okay, I was only there two nights. At night, the immediate area is a little desolate, but not far from livelier areas. There is a great spot for breakfast and lunch, Cafe Cornwall, nearby. (And in a pinch the McDonald's is very close). In sum, Talofa Inn is kind of nice and definitely ok!

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your time to give us one. As soon as our internet provider brings down the internet fees, we can offer more. Unfortunately that is why some bigger hotels don't offer any free wifi but we try our best to give some for our guests.Faafetai lava & God Bless from Talofa Inn Team :)

Excellent place for families and groups.
Very close and handy to most convenient places in town.
Traffic noise is a big issue especially the rooms near the main road. as most drivers I would say very mimika with unnecessary loud music and just plainly rude.

We were told by one staff that we had to pay 30 tala for breakfast. Later was told by another staff it was free.??? Inside was clean. Rubbish was left outside too long. Service excellent
This is the second time I’ve stayed at the talofa inn. The ladies are great to talk too, I highly recommend if your needing to go shopping before going back home. This is the place to go cause all the shops and markets are in walking distance.

If you’re expecting luxury this isn’t the place for you. The hotel is basic but brilliant. You have everything you need. It’s right in the centre of Apia and walking distance pretty much, from everything. There’s a supermarket directly across the road and a super clean shared kitchen you can use any time. The breakfast is great. There was pancakes with coconut jam yesterday. Always cereal and fruit. What made my stay was the lovely women who worked there. So friendly and helpful and full of suggestions. They genuinely wanted me to enjoy my time. There’s a washer and dryer too. A whole load for a fee. Highly recommended.

Cheap but meh hotel
Just needed a place to stay the night in between flights, and for that it was adequate. The room was small, but it was a single room for the night, and that was fine.
I was a bit mystified by what they meant by "Bathroom - Private bathroom and shower." I guess it meant that there were private bathrooms and showers down the hall in an unmarked room. I had to ask another guest where they were when I got up in the morning. I wouldn't have booked the room if I realized the bathroom wasn't part of the deal.
On the plus side, everything was very clean. I mean impressively clean. I was surprised by the windows in my room. I don't know if I've ever seen windows that clean when they were new.
The location is also pretty convenient. There's a tax stand right across the street, but it's so close to restaurants and the market, that it's an easy 10-15 minute walk. There was supposed to be an airport shuttle, but I couldn't find a staff member to arrange it when I got back from dinner or when I got up in the morning.
Clean, friendly, EXTREMELY convenient to downtown Apia. Staff were very welcoming to our late arrival and our request to keep luggage until we could pick it up later. Smiling, polite, reliable and informative.
The room was very clean, somewhat compact but perfect for our one night stay.
Perfect base for looking around Apia, nothing was too much trouble. Perfect 'first night' accommodation.

This out of sight property is a real gem in Apia. The staff are THE BEST - friendly and working tirelessly on tidying up - it’s no doubt the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in.
The location is central, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the quality of the accommodations were good.
Guests were very respectful of each other - which was a must given the close, relatively thin-walled nature of the rooms.

I chose this B and B to stay in central Apia. The supermarket was across the street and taxis were available nearby. I was there 9 days for the Pacific Games. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a good place to stay and if I return I may rebook this place for my stay.

Stayed 4 nights with a friend and was a lovely place to be. Close to the centre of town, shops and restaurants. Lovely staff who made us breakfast (included) each morning. Not glamorous, but a really nice place to stay with a feeling of real Samoa. I'd happily stay again.

Great Service so, I Highly Recommended this Proper
Talofa Inn is a good value guesthouse in downtown Apia but has great service, nothing is too much trouble.
My host, Lea, made me a lovely breakfast each morning consisting of cereals, coffee, toast, and best of all, Banana bread accompanied by pineapple, mango, orange and finger banana.
The hospitality here was the same as throughout the island, warm and generous.

I really enjoyed my 6 night stay at Talofa Inn. Unquestionably the best thing is the EXCELLENT friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. A tasty filling (not small) continental breakfast is served each morning, and it varies a bit from day to day, so it doesn't get boring. The rooms are nicely air conditioned. There's also a pleasant outdoor area in which to relax. It's a short walk to the waterfront where there are some good places to eat and to have a drink. The hotel's Apia location is a good one for being the base for day trips around the island.

I was truly surprised about this place. One of the most friendly service I have even received. They changed the breakfast items every day, which was great and some days you get eggs, even if they only say continental breakfast. Good filter coffee (so tired of instant coffee on other islands) and good location. There is also super market right across the street. If ever back to Apia, would stay in same place.

Talofa Inn is always my first choice accommodation in Apia. The price is incredibly fair, rooms are clean - comfy - air conditioned, showers are hot, location is A+ being both very central and still boasting a lovely & private outdoor patio space. Perfect place to recharge before heading back to Savaii 💕

Good location in central Apia. Staff is very friendly and helpful! I asked several questions, and they were always good with the answers. I asked about a tour of the island, and they contacted a driver/guide to take me. Rented a car from them as well - price was discounted and therefore cheaper than I could have gotten on my own.
Room was adequate. Bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. A/C kept the room plenty cool. Breakfast in the mornings was always with a smile - it was mainly fruits, and each day they had something different to go with the fruit. Not a fancy breakfast at all, but standard for the culture.
Taxi stand and grocery store directly across the street were very convenient.

The staff make this place very special. My memory is not great, so I cannot recall all their names, but the three ladies who worked the desk and managed car reservations from August 7-9, 2018, as well as the guy who takes care of Talofa's cars were so accommodating and kind, and helped us with everything we needed. They deserve special recognition. The hotel is very clean, shower is great, and location is the best in town. Book this place if it is available!

Greeted by Yana on arrival and she showed us to our room which was nice and clean and had two big beds in it. We also had 100MB of free wifi which is very rare in Samoa, so very grateful for it.
Breakfast was tasty - fresh fruit and sago pudding!
A good location for the market and post office and things that you need, and a short drive from the marina where there are some good restaurants. A great stay!

The two ladies there in the day were very nice and helpful, a big plus. But they are only there from 8 AM until about 6 PM, not enough time. Breakfast is too late, starting at 8. Breakfast cereal was soggy for three days until new cereal arrived. For two nights there was no hot water. The owner was nice to give me half off the room price for one day. Lots of street noise.
This was a lovely location close to the city centre. There are no public toilets in the city so it was useful to be able to pop back to the hotel and also have a quick shower to cool off. There were staff on hand all day plus a security guard at night.
Will be going back for a holiday in Samoa next year and will definitely stay at the Talofa Inn.

Our stay at Talofa Inn was superb! We stayed for about one week. The rooms are extremely clean and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The location is about three blocks from the waterfront and surrounded lovely Samoan boutique clothing stores including the store below the hotel. There are also a few restaurants within walking distance and two taxi cab stands across the street in case you need a ride. There's a Luckys Foodtown (grocery store) across the street where you can pick up any toiletries you may have forgotten, drinks, snacks or groceries you'd like. Talofa Inn has a beautiful and fully stocked kitchen for anything you'd like to cook. We also got a great rate on a car rental from the hotel which made traveling around the island so convenient. The morning breakfast was delicious and often featured a variety of local tropical fruits along with the main dish. I loved it. I can't boast enough about how much we loved our stay but especially the staff! Don't hesitate on booking here! :)
