All the little stairs with a suitcase is very exhausting. The room with private bathroom was nice. Very convenient for everything. Laundry around the corner.

For the size of the room this was a pretty expensive hotel, but then again it is literally in the centre of Amsterdam, a short walk from the station. However, it is really noisy, both inside and out.

Cleanliness was pretty poor and bedding was grubby and dirty. I wouldnt recommend for familes or people with young children staircases are very dangerous if you're not very careful. In my opinion its ideal for people that are there for the sesh ie drugs and drink

Much better than reviews portray
Having read some really severe and crippling reviews, we had misgivings, but these were found generally to be groundless and the hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is relatively basic, but cleanliness was good, beds excellent, quiet most nights, staff very courteous and helpful, and central location really perfect! As long as you’re not after five-star accommodation this hotel will more than adequately suit.

Perfect location
Perfect location in Dam Square close to everything. Like many hotels in Amsterdam is overpriced for what it is - small functional twin room approx £190 per night in August. Can be a little noisy. Front desk was helpful Hotel is linked with restaurant downstairs, and it is a little off-putting that patrons are directed upstairs to the hotel to use the washrooms

This property is very misleading with their Expedia advertising. The photos listed first are nothing like the room we received. Upon scrolling through the photos once we arrived, we noticed the photos are stretched out to make the property look bigger. Our room was also not cleaned from the previous tenants. There was trash, used wet towels, hair in the beds, and it smelled musty. Additionally when we opened the window to get fresh air there was a pond of green mossy still water right outside the window that made the smell even worse. Other than the location this place was absolutely terrible. I would not recommend to anyone. If I was to go back to Amsterdam I would easily pay extra for a nicer place and even stay further from the city center.

Good location but the hotel is run down and expensive for what you get. Also we were on the 3rd floor and theres no elevator. Its just a place to sleep and nothing fancy or comfortable about this place. The customer service wasnt to great either with the exception of one gentleman on the day we were leaving. Walls were paper thin and hotel is very loud.

Great trip in Amsterdam
It was great and the location is brilliant as it is in the city itself. Sleep, eat, party and have a great experience, and no problem going home or worried about transportation.

Cheap City Stay
2 nights, location first class. Staff friendly and professional. Single room was very, very small, however, with small shower, toilet en-suite. Bed tiny but comfortable. Ideal at the price in the middle of everything and good public transport around the city.

We took double room with private bathroom Location great just near Dam square and central station No elevator (i guess same problem with most amsterdam hotels) so we had to carry our luggage Some rooms were in another building (mine was in same building so i don’t know about other one) Room was somehow small but good for short stay For me location and price beats other disadvantages

Narrow stairs and lift only from 1st floor. Had to carry heavy bag in 2 locations. Run down old hotel. Exuberant cost for nothing much at all. Noisy and paper thin walls

The room not same like in the photos. Some of staff bit rude,check me until to the room make sure in a guest or not,because of 1 cup of coffee.You pay 190 euro for 3 days which the room (single) is uncomplete.Smells and not change bedsheet.Not recommended

location was good and good sized bed considering bunk beds. didn't like the fact that its actually a builing site and not a hotel, so good luck sleeping passed 9am as work begins then and no chance of a nap during the day until the building is finished.

Location is good but hotel is not at all good to stay. It is extremely difficult to reach your room from the entrance of the hotel. You may be able to stay in this hotel only if you are young, strong and without any luggage

Great accommodations and incredible location for the price. Room was small and plain but had what we needed: a closet, power outlets, a private bathroom, clean beds, and a nice big window. The clerk let us store our luggage before check-in and after check-out, which was really convenient. Please note that the check-in desk and our room (possibly all rooms?) must be accessed via one steep flight of stairs; there was an elevator available for rooms above that. Would definitely stay here again.

Location was brilliant. Dont think the hotel should have cost as much as i payed as it was very basic. Loads off boxes of laminate flooring and other stuff blocking the reception and further along the hall where my room was. Also very load noises coming from upatirs in the middle of the night (2am) which was abit rediculas and very loud so dint get much sleep. I would stay at the hotel again at a lower rate as the location is fantastic.

Defo 1 night stay hotel, wouldnt stay here longer
The check in took over 10 minutes. We only needed somewhere to stay for 9 hours so got this as price reduced a lot online. Defo not worth paying the original price for.

the place was horrible .We were suppose to stay for 4 nites only stayed for 1 .The bedmatteress were all stained ,room was dirty .Pictures give a complety different view. Curtains were hanging of the window .Would not recommend this to anybody
