Rather than staying in Amsterdam city centre this trip I tried the Ibis, about five kilometres out. The room was very clean, comfortable and functional. The staff are amazing looking after all my requests. The bus transportation is excellent leaving from across the street every fifteen minutes ( a little longer at times in the weekend) then only a fifteen minute ride to Amsterdam Centraal. On the return trip the bus stops right in front

Decent location on outskirts of centre, easy no.22 bus to central station from outside or metro from nearby station. No tea and coffee making facilities in room a bit of a let down but otherwise all good.

Staff weren’t very Informative to assist with first time Amsterdam travellers that didn’t understand the subway/bus routes. They just pointed to the bus stops. The hotel itself was bland and lacked necessities like extra towels and pillows. The room was freezing cold with no extra blankets or heating. Wasn’t surprised by this as we didn’t pay a lot but lacking the bare minimum was disappointing.

The bathroom was no bigger than an RV shower. Water temperature was difficult to maintain surges of extreme hot then cold. Without moving the valves. Breakfast could be better, located in a small room. .

A good enough stay
The hotel is in a very good state. The room was quiet and the blackout curtains kept the room very dark so that morning light did not disturb sleep. We did not choose to have breakfast at the hotel. However all amenities from the hotel were very expensive so beware. The food from the snack bar was expensive, the bike rental was expensive so do not bother. The receptionist were not very knowledgeable about things and they are also very young and inexperienced. Today's society. The hotel is not that near to the city so this is something else you need to be aware of. You will need to take a bus back and forth.

The hotel is a bit far from the city centre, but it is conveniently located close to a metro station, across from a bus stop and a fifteen-minute walk to the Sloterdijk train station with trains to the airport, central station and cities nearby. The hotel is clean, and the beds are comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is located in a quiet and safe area.

We were moved to another Ibis hotel as this one had the A/C Brocken. The room was extremely small. A/C was hardly working. When I checked with the front desk I was told that the hotel doesn’t really has A/C but only climate control. ( not sure what this exactly means) No tissue papers in bathroom. When asked for some, was told that this is not a 5 Star hotel, don’t have any. The whole room have only two paper cups, no coffee maker no microwave no refrigerator, no toiletry, one very small TV. Although staff in general was friendly, the hotel is hardly a 0.5 Star

6 nights stay. Nobody was able to provide me with an invoice. Apparently I will receive after check-out and days later I am still waiting. Kitchen is meant to be open until 2200 but no food available at 2100 (It was busy we have nothing left. Or the chef wanted to go home?). The drain in my bathroom sink was blocked and it got fixed the day before check-out, hence after 5 days. I got charged Amsterdam standards when ibis west should be a low-cost budget hotel.

Not far from train station about 15 min. Car park but not free, there is a bus to get city centre, the hotel hire bicycle. Lovely breakfast. Non è lontano dalla stazione dei treni circa 15min. Parcheggio auto a pagamento, c'è l'autobus per il centro, l' hotel affitta le biciclette. La colazione è ottima abbondante e assortita.

The hotel was very close to public transport to the coty and even though our original room booked wasnt available due to be used staff at the hotel kindly placed us in another room and even upgraded us for the inconveniences
