The hotel was well kept and staff very friendly and helpful. Very accessible to trams with restaurants around and a grocery. Although my room was very tiny it still was good with comfy bed. My only suggestion is to provide a super absorbent floor mat for the shower to prevent water from going all over the floor. The bathroom floor was all leveled. I would definitely stay at Hotel Espresso again and would recommend to friends and family. Thank you Hotel Espresso!

Location is good, within walking distance to the museum district. What I liked most is quiet and safe neighborhood with not so many tourists. In my last half trip, I stayed another hotel, near Amsterdam central station and now I feel if I stayed in that hotel throughout my trip, my impression to Amsterdam might have been very different, like noisy and busy town. Though a bit over budget, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

Perfect for a short stay, with easy access to the city centre and transport, or even walkable. The room was well equipped and clean. My only minor criticism would be that the lighting in the room was quite dim, but by no means a problem. I’d recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient cost effective stay in Amsterdam.

Stayed here during a 20-hour layover in Amsterdam and absolutely loved it! It was my first time in Amsterdam and I really wish my wife and I could've stayed longer. The hotel is close to a bunch of landmarks, museums, strips of restaurants, etc. Lots of hustle and bustle nearby. Rooms were clean, and the bed was the comfiest one we slept in during our 2-week Europe trip! The room was a little small but the layout made it seem bigger than it was. Nice bathrooms and shower. I will DEFINITELY stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam!

This is like a scam. The photos in the internet doesn’t have any to see with the reality. It’s dirty, they give you a different room that you asked for, the safe box doesn’t work, also the remote control of tv. The only real thing is the location.
