We absolutely LOVED our stay in this clean, convenient hotel. It was a short walk to the busy districts and was perfect for bobbing in and out, plus the balcony was amazing for watching the world go by. Would recommend for the great price!

This is a very adequate hotel. You do not go to Amsterdam and stay in your hotel room. If you do not mind climbing stairs, having a small old room, and the smell of pot smoking, this is your place. Super cheap, excellent location, and nice staff.

Pictures look better than actual rooms and the pictures on the site aren’t great. Rundown hotel but in a good central location. Staff very nice and helpful. Ok for a couple nights for a single dude but would avoid for extended stays or any with a partner.

The balcony overlooking the Main Street was a bonus, very good location and access to everything. The room was comfortable and adequate, however the bathroom was / toilet was awkward. The staff was polite and very helpful. The 35 steps to the lobby should be emphasized for seniors and the disabled.

Great location for getting round Amsterdam but basic accommodation. Our beds (twin room) needed replaced (rm 302). Friendly staff. Very steep, narrow stairs. I would not recommend this hotel other than in price and location, but we enjoyed our 3 days in Amsterdam.

The hotel is basic, but in the best possible way, and was exactly what we needed for a city break in Amsterdam. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had a lovely bay window overlooking the street, which added to the charm. The bathroom was also clean and accessible. I know some people mention the narrow, steep stairs, but personally, I felt they added to the authentic Amsterdam feel, as this is so typical of the city’s buildings! The location was brilliant, making it a great base for exploring Amsterdam. If you’re looking for somewhere luxurious, this might not be the place for you, but if you want somewhere clean, comfortable and well-located to explore the city, I would definitely recommend it. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam!

A lovely little hotel in the middle of Amsterdam. Easy walking distance to restaurants, a supermarket, coffeeshops and the red light district. We had a balcony room, which allowed for people watching when we weren't exploring Amsterdam.

Location was great, bathroom was a bit of a squeeze and smelt of drains/sewers and toilet was a bit wobbly 😅 other than that can’t complain, they had a balcony next to reception where you can smoke, a coffee shop literally across the road within a 2min walk. Would defo stay again, just be aware the stairs are deathwish almost vertical so if you have mobility issues look elsewhere. Overall good value for money, can’t expect much more for the price.

If you enjoy the bedsit experience - you will enjoy your stay here. Location is 10/10 but the rooms are very very basic. We were concerned about bedbugs following a previous review - but this was not an issue, Staff were very professional and courteous.

Close to the 9th shopping street. Hotel room were not too clean and the bathroom ceiling was leaking however if you want something at an affordable price and close to the town center then it’s worth staying. The staff is very friendly and helpful:)

Ok. So you get what you pay for and this is an extreme budget value hotel in a well located and popular district. Upon entry, you are immediately faced with a staircase that we nicknamed “the ladder”, so if you hate stairs and heights then this hotel is not for you. The rooms were clean and tidy, hoorah, yet in desperate need of renovation, most fixtures and fittings very worn and or broken. Shower was ok. The triple room was roomy for 3, good heating, good ventilation and comfy enough. You get what you pay for and this is very cheap and cheerful (enough). The staff were lovely, cheerful and helpful. The large modern Nespresso machine in the room was well appreciated.
