"everything from the food to the staff were top notch, Only one portion of a meal was disappointing. Not very busy at the resort but that was fine. "

"Our stay at Malecon Cancun lasted 2 weeks, and unfortunately this is not a place for peaceful rest. Almost every night there were loud shows, parties, and events nearby, with music and microphone announcements continuing late into the night, making it very difficult to sleep. The apartment had a beautiful view, and the service team was extremely responsive — most requests were handled within minutes, which we truly appreciated. However, there were many maintenance and comfort issues: tiny ants, a dirty and uncomfortable sofa with a bad smell, poor kitchen equipment (dull knives, no spatula, scratched pans, damaged cutting boards), very few outlets, a broken wardrobe door, and a balcony door that was extremely hard to open. There was also no drying rack despite having a washing machine. The hotel area itself feels old and poorly maintained. The infinity pool does not match the Expedia photos, with dirty glass and loose pool tiles. Overall, the view and fast service were the main positives, but the constant noise and lack of maintenance made the stay hard to enjoy."

"For the price and proximity this is easily a great place to stay. Minutes from the shopping centers and a short ride to all the beaches and airport! Its not as fancy as an all inclusive but the AC works, its very clean, it isnt noisy, but its also not going to drain your wallet. The pool is nice but the gym is hardly a gym."

"The swimming pool was not crystal clear but they have the option to use all the amenities in the beach club at the Krystal’s hotel in the beach. We were out of hot water for half a day and running water by a couple hours. It was a bit disappointing that the hotel didn’t apologize."

"I stayed here a few months ago and felt it offered a balance between amenities and value for my money. However, since then there were two main issues with my stay. The refrigerator did not work at all, and I had to use a separate cooler with ice every day to keep my drinks, cold. When I talk to the staff, I was told that I needed to upgrade to a better room for a cooler fridge. The fridge worked fine and I stayed in an identical room my last stay. Also hot water was lacking on two days. I could not get a hot shower no matter how often I tried. Because of these issues, I would not stay here again. It’s unfortunate. The room was cool though and clean."

"Room was clean. All the amenities were there. The staff was helpful when I temporarily lost my key. I was a little nervous about the lock being a bit loose/jiggly, but that's an easy fix. For anyone on a bit of a budget and doesn't want to do the all-inclusive route, this is a great option. Basic, but delivers what it promises. "
