"The room was clean and the pillows were the best Ive slept on in a while. The staff were kind and very helpful. Plus the AC worked which was so important because i cannot sleep in a hot room. I will say in the morning i thought someone was knocking but no one was there i think it was just the maids putting their equipment next to the walls"

"This is a great hotel with a wonderful vibe. The staff generally were very helpful - the ones on the front desk were exceptional, very service-oriented. Location could not be better. I would definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet was superlative."

"We stayed years ago prior to renovation. Beautiful hotel, wonderful attention to detail preserving the old while totally updating. Staff was so accommodating that if asked a question they would provide not only directions but hours, etc. Best breakfast ever, eggs, sausages, various bread & rolls, sweets, cheeses, even English, and vegan offerings. Table service upscale with waiters for every whim. Room maintained spotless with complimentary bottles of water replaced everyday. Lovely bar area with roaring fire going and soft music in the background, available for both food & drinks."
