"The Moxy is a hotel you select because you need a place close to the airport. The terminal is a fairly easy 10 min walk depending on the amount of luggage you’re carrying. A bus that runs every 10 min is also available. The hotel itself has a fun boutique vibe that gives it some personality beyond a basic airport hotel, but with the consistency and basics you expect from a brand like Marriot. It has a restaurant and bar but the whole first floor check in and dining area is open, crowded and loud. I had to wait in a line at least 15 min to check in, which was annoying. There were also no luggage carts. Also annoying since I had accumulated a number of additional items and packages I was carrying in from our rental car which required a great sidewalk negotiation to condense everything into what we could carry with out making multiple trips, and we were greatly weighted down. A simple luggage carts would seem easy and obvious especially at an airport hotel. Another irritation was the inability to control the room temperature. It’s set for the season and a sign at the thermostat advises that your option is to open or close a window. Since our room was hot, we opened ours. With the outer building under construction there was some form of plastic on the outside of the building flapping all night against the window. There was also no phone in the room to contact the front desk, so any room issues require a trip down to the front desk. These small things were a detraction."
