Book a Stirling Cottage

"Needs a little updating. But location was good"

"BOOK……THIS……HOME!The location is incredible, on a working farm, with a cafe and quaint restaurant, literally steps away. The Owners are sharing their family history with travelers and the modern updates and construction they have done is comparable to the best renovation teams on TV. "Fantastic house, really spacious bedrooms, well appointed kitchen with everything a family would need. Great location equidistant from Glasgow and Edinburgh."

"A fabulous lodge in a beautiful location. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful."

"Lovely lodge , nice and peaceful site for a chilled break "

"We had a fantastic few days at Shieldhill Farmhouse with our extended family. Everything was clean and tidy and we all felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were lots of little extra things such as toys for the children, recommendations for restaurants and takeaways, and goodies on arrival which were lovely. "Great apartment, in excellent location...we would happily recommend it."

"The property is basic but perfectly adequate for our needs - a one night stay. Dogs welcome and plenty of places nearby to walk them. The owner is very helpful and responsive to queries."

"Lovely cottage on a working farm.Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome."

"Very nice and relaxing in the hot tub with a lovely private garden."

"Lovely location, central for exploring East and West.Very comfortable with just about everything you need.Only downside was the kitchen could have done with more plug sockets. However, would thoroughly recommend and we would stay again."

"Amazing country views and minutes away from all amenities Linlithgow has to offer. We stayed for 4 weeks and found all the comforts of home. Great walks right outside your door whether it’s along the canal or up to Beecraigs."

"After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues"

"Spent the weekend here as a group for my sisters hen weekend. The photographs don’t do the facility justice. The house was amazing with so much character!! The staircase, aga and fire were fantastic!! Set in such a peaceful space with excellent grounds for kids and big ‘kids’ to play games. Plenty of space and rooms were an amazing size and comfortable! Would def book again for a large group activity weekend!! "

"The location was great and the accommodations were comfortable. We appreciated the fact that there was a packing spot for our car. We enjoyed cooking breakfast together in the kitchen. Very easy."
