"Fun, funky and artsy boutique hotel just a few steps away from the pedestrian shopping area and the park. Spacious room with a welcome decanter of port, but no in-room fridge or coffee maker. Wonderful staff and breakfast with a nice buffet selection and cooked to order eggs and bacon. Small inconvenience of no onsite parking and no place to pull over to unload bags. No lift, so be aware that even if you book the 1st floor, it's really the 2nd floor, as the first floor is "Piso Zero" there. "

"Beautiful Portuguese Casa with lovely garden, pool, and breakfast/rec room. Amazing collections of various items on display everywhere you look. The hostess. Ari, was wonderful and so very helpful. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rio Maior is only an hour or so from Lisbon and so much more relaxing to stay and enjoy the surrounding sites. Would definitely recommend Casa do Foral. They pay attention to details and will make your stay so very enjoyable. "

"No one ever came to let us in the front door. When residents went in and out, that is how we got in. Once getting into the building, figuring out codes and keys was pretty straightforward. It was clean and comfy and close to everything we needed. Don’t get discouraged, it is a very nice place…you just have to be independent."

"Fabulous hotel, close to the airport. It is so quiet and the pool is lovely. The rooms are spacious and have all these modern touches like automatic lighting, blinds, and towel warmers.
