"Beautiful hotel, with staff that can’t do enough for their guests. We recieved the most charismatic and happy welcome into the hotel which was lovely. The room was beautiful and very clean, well worth the money. The beds were honestly the comfiest hotel beds I’ve ever felt! My only criticism would be when other guests were entering or leaving the rooms surrounding ours it sounded like someone was trying to get into our room due to the slamming of the doors and echoing through the walls as the doors are so close together. Overall a lovely hotel, I’d definitely stay here again."

"We have been going here for many years , it is always excellent. The breakfast seems less varied than it used to be but is still excellent. The room was very good overall but was incredibly warm at night, too warm to sleep easily - could really do with some sort of air conditioning as it was really hard to sleep even with the windows open. The staff are really good though, and overall the hotel is really nice. We arrived late just as the restaurant was shutting but we did have a bar meal instead. The views from the sea view rooms are stunning. "

"Lovely hotel just 10 minutes walk from the centre of York. Situated in a student area but it is quiet and there's lots of lovely cafes and restaurants only a few minutes away. Hotel was stunning, modern and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and we'd definitely stay again. Breakfast was amazing."
