"I stayed at this hotel before but it was many years ago. Not much has changed. It’s conveniently located to most things that you would want to do or see in Richmond. The only complaint that I had during this particular stay was that someone left their dog in the room unattended and it barked all evening during our first night. Apparently there were others that stayed in the same floor with the same complaint. The dog was obviously in distress and I’m certain that it probably clawed and damaged the back of the door trying to get out. The hotel is dog friendly and we appreciate that but it was disruptive to those that were trying to sleep. Otherwise, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. "

"This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff was fantastic, especially Dee in the complimentary kitchen area. The location could not have been better. The rooms were spotless and the housekeepers were personable and very helpful. It might not have been the ritziest but personalities and cleanliness more than made the difference. I would come back to this hotel again and again. "
