As we've been there for the Metallica OpenAir gig, we/the fans were definitely not the typical Marriott customer base. But the staff was friendly and all guests, incl. us enjoyed the stay and all was peacefull, friendly and in great shape. The hotel bar was as crowded as the stadium itself, also because of the soccer championship. All staff was really excellent, friendly and enjoyed the different looking guests as well, I guess.
Checked in and staff very pleasant and helpful. Hotel appeared well kept, clean and modern. Small reception area but didn't use bar though. Sitting there with a coffee would have been pleasant. No stair option and 1 lady found the fact there were 2 x floor 1's on lift buttons confusing! One goes to rooms and one to breakfast area. Room very spacious and as 15 year old daughter with us this was great for all her clobber! Great that we could check out so late, 12 noon, and that we could leave our bags free of charge until we were ready to leave at the end of the day. Bath towels a little small but ok. Air Conditioning modern and effective. The general feel of hotel is cosy and friendly (not a huge number of rooms), slightly lacking character, it is a chain hotel, but generally our stay was excellent. Well placed for Vienna Central and a short walk to underground. Also shopping area nearby. Didn't manage a visit, but the beautiful looking Secession Building literally across the road from hotel.
Good location near Donau river , and good connection to the Vienna airport with coach and to city centre via underground.
Staff are friendly, helpful and polite.
Good size comfortable bedroom.
Breakfast buffet very good.
We had a relaxing time and enjoyed our stay there very much .
Lovely hotel, excellent site, a lot of coffee shops and dinner restaurants just in the cinema complex opposit building, take the taxi offer from hotel DO NO TAKE AIRPORT TAXI. Don't read a negative review it was not true, a spar just on the corner and I will with no doubt go again and again
