"The place is amazing, beautiful large home converted into an old school B&B. Loved my room! Had a wonderful bathtub in a cozy environment. Only two comments I have are lack of breakfast options for early riser. Unfortunately I could not partake in the breakfast part of the Bed and Breakfast. I understand that it's easy and convenient to have a scheduled time for breakfast but it would've been nice to have an option to speak to someone about my schedule. "I was amazed with how well every bit of space was utilized. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, it was like being at home. It was so quiet and peaceful and such a beautiful area. We went to a soccer tournament during our stay so the hot tub was so appreciated. If you are looking for a quiet few days away this is the perfect place! The host emailed to let us know she was there if we needed anything and just let us enjoy her amazing property. So grateful to have found this home...

"We had a wonderful 30 day stay at The Sailors Rest. Well equipped home away from home. Paloma the dog loved the walk through the forest to the close by off leash park where she made lots of friends. The hot tub was well maintained and was a lovely end to the days after exploring Duncan and the Cowichan area."

"It is literally a 5 minute walk to Chestermans beach which is amazing. The cabin was warm and inviting, the kitchen was well stocked and they even included an emergency bag if needed. Great host, very personable. The cabin is just inches from the main house so if complete privacy is what you’re after this may not offer as much privacy as some need. For our family though it was wonderful, the loft bed in the hidden little nook was really cool. Very nice place"

Martin was so kind and welcoming, offering great suggestions for the activities I wanted to do; breakfast was delicious and the outdoor tub under the full moon was magic."
