"This was definitely an interesting place to stay! Each room had a theme, and the decor was well designed. Only minus was that the door was difficult to lock (you had to push hard and fiddle with the key to get it out after closing the lock). The breakfast was excellent (not a buffet but à la carte) and the hotel offered a bike rental service, witch helped to explore the city!"

It is still the American Hotel to us and the astounding history should be respected by all the new owners as I am sure the do and will.
