"Such a unique place to stay! Service was amazing and very clean room and dining. Food was excellent. The grounds are naturally beautiful but could use some maintenance and upkeep. My children enjoyed the indoor pool- I’ve never seen anything like it! I hope this place stays because we want to come back."

"Our room was exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable. We had a porch and it wasn’t clean. The outside can use some overall maintenance, some flowers and general cleaning up. Margaret cooked us breakfast and it was wonderful. She is delightful. Location is great. We are glad we were not in the middle of the Riverwalk. "

"I stayed at the Lonely Oak with my two teenage children. I had a few questions before my arrival, and the staff were quick to respond and very helpful. "Beautiful and well maintained property. Check in and out were a breeze. Quiet place out in the country. Great escape from the city. House was clean but small. No ice maker, stove did not work, no pans provided, and no TV. Main sleeping quarters was upstairs via a ladder which was sketchy. We slept on the sofa on the main floor. For safety purposes a railing is needed around the main sleeping quarters. The ladder takes up too much room. Needs to be able to be stowed away to create extra room on...

"Cabin was clean and had many supplies. Be aware that the bathroom is not in the cabin but just a few steps away and is a private bath, did not impact our stay. Seems like it would be a good place to stay in warmer months when you could use the lake amenities. We chose the property because of its proximity to Stone House Vineyard, we were attending an event there and wanted to stay close by."
