Bonus: we are just ACROSS THE STREET from StoneHouse Vinyards Winery & a short drive to Krause Springs spring-fed swimming hole!
The Bunkhouse is a unique, lakefront minimalist eco-cabin that’s ideal for a small group of 4, bunking up in 2 bunk beds (4 mattresses total, slightly thinner than a twin-bed.) Renting this accommodation with the Blue Loft eco-cabin is a great combination for larger families or groups. Enjoy star-gazing, reading a book, or hanging out with loved ones on the deck facing the grounds and water. The Bunkhouse was designed by the well-known Austin architect, Marley Porter, who created One World Theater. This fun eco-cabin is equipped with a full bathroom with standing shower, mini-fridge, coffee-maker, microwave, compostable plates and bowls, and local Austin coffee is provided. The Bunkhouse has 2 A/C units, modern ceiling fan, and a thermal efficient space heater. Common outdoor areas feature hammocks, tables and chairs, a dock at the water, gas and charcoal grill, yoga pavilion, multiple stone decks, and a cool fire pit.

Everything was great. We had a great time. We went fishing and caught 3 huge catfish. Great spot. Well managed very clean and everything works. Super neat place.
What a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend. My only regret is i shouldve booked an extra day! The check in process was hassle free. Mellow vibes. Peace and quiet and getting in touch with nature was way over due! We went kayaking and paddle boarding it was fun and warm!

Nice quiet space
Property owner was very nice. It was a simple getaway- charming little space.
Check in was seamless and the property is majestic! We rented paddle boards, enjoyed a private yoga session and savored the summer breeze on the boat dock!
Close to the venue quiet and affordable. Travis is a great host. I will be back!!

Liked: Location
Very rustic; no frills
Curtains should be kept closed because when we arrived, the afternoon sun had heated the bunkhouse to 130 degrees. We searched everywhere for the AC unit and finally discovered it was under the bunk. Turned it on full blast and went to lake. Upon returning, bunkhouse was still hot. Then discovered there was a second unit under the other bunk. It would have saved us a lot of grief if you had a sign telling us this!! Bunkhouse is very rundown and could use a lot of TLC. Beds are tiny and not very comfortable. Not enough hot water for 2 decent showers. But fire pit outside is great; view of lake and hillside patios are wonderful; boat dock covered platform very nice. The air vent on that roof is squeaky - needs grease!! Nearby winery was highlight of our weekend. Also Pizzeria Sorellina.
Four of us stayed here and it was perfect. We got to have some girl time and this was a different vibe than just a hotel somewhere. Would make a romantic getaway as well in one of the other units.
my mom and I wanted to get out of the city for a couple days and she found this perfect place on vrbo. It was such a memorable time. We swam, went over to the vineyard, saw lots of deer...it was just so nice. Thank you so much, Todd, for helping us out when we needed it and thank you, Bob, for your quick responsiveness. I highly recommend this place to anybody needing quiet time! We're going to try and get our whole family next time.
Went for a weekend get away worn my best friend. The property is beautiful and relaxing. It was too cold to take advantage of the water activities but we did enjoy the winery that is walking distance and the distillery just 15 minutes away. Also, did yoga on the pavilion over looking the water. Will definitely visit again in the warmer months.
This was such a cute property. I loved the uniqeness of the layout and the quiet atmosphere. It just brought us so much peace. The waterfall features and the simple beauty and peace of the lake can't be overlooked. The beds were very comfy, too. We will certainly stay again.

Loved the Bunk House
We had a great time here. The bunk house was clean and comfortable. We mainly were there to enjoy the lake and spend some quality family time outdoors. This was exactly what we needed.

Quaint space, dog friendly with a short 100 yard walk to the lake; good vibes lakeside
The grounds the tiny homes sit on are very accommodating. Our cabin was simple but exactly what we expected from the description. Restroom with shower, beds and small porch. The communal area includes a bbq pit with everything you need to start at fire and our favorite part, the small boat house on the lake. I had completely forgotten tubes, and was pleasantly surprised to find some in the boat house! Something also must be said about how great the property manager, Todd, was! He trimmed the trees, that had been making noise the night before due to wind, as we hung out lake side and also returned our iPad as soon as possible after we realized we had left it in the cabin. My husband and I had a great time here and will surely return.

Quiet, relaxing, and fun!
My friends and I absolutely loved staying here! The property was beautiful and we loved having direct access to the water. While we could tell other cabins were being rented, it was very quiet and we never ran into anyone else. The owner was so kind and easy to get in touch with. This was such a perfect little mid-week escape and I would definitely return in the future!

A Slice of Heaven near Austin
Perfect and unique property to relax and get away from it all. Great location on the sense that you are close to some great towns as well near Krause Springs and Hamilton Pool. I loved everything thing about this place especially the outdoors. Todd was super nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

our 7 year old cried when we left!
Living Waters is lovely- we'd recommend it for a restful, relaxing weekend OR an action-filled outdoorsy weekend. The property is beautiful, quiet...there are many deer to be seen in the neighborhood and at night, the stars are beautiful-- there's a hammock for maximum viewing enjoyment. Todd, the property manager, was welcoming, easygoing and very accessible via text the entire weekend. We visited with our two young kids and they loved that all of us were in one, tiny cozy cabin for sleeping-- the bunks were really comfy! We enjoyed swimming and floating on the water, rented the kayaks one day and explored...we saw a boat or two and a couple jet skis, but otherwise we had the water to ourselves. There are quite a few fun little outings in and around the cabin. We visited Krause Springs, ate at Opie's BBQ (yummy and an experience...live music, etc), hiked at Muleshoe Bend...
We stopped at HEB in Bee Cave on our way in and filled our cooler with fruit, yogurt, etc...for lunches and dinners we ate out. Highly recommend Back Draft Pizzeria in Bee Cave-- delicious.

Best Rental Experience in a long time!
If anyone wants all the activities of camping with an AC, this place is perfect! We really stayed outside most of the day, the outside areas, boathouse, and River is what really makes this place awesome! Truly felt like a perfect getaway for me my wife and 6 month old baby. I would have liked to have a kitchen but honestly grilling outside and having an icechest added more to the experience.
One recommendation, a $40 cleaning fee for such a tiny home is a little pricey, but the price of the rental is a good deal so it makes up for it.
