"This hostel is great. It's a little out of the way if you don't have a car, but the bus is only $3 from the airport and it's only an 11 minute walk. They have chocolate pudding every evening at 8pm. *(for Americans, it's not milky, liquidy pudding, but baked "pudding".) It gets pretty cold in the fall/winter. "I booked and arrived late, a lovely young woman welcomed me and showed me to my cute little self-contained unit in the back garden. Very grateful for the room at that time. It was well stocked with all i the appliances etc I needed. Quiet. Shower floor could have done with a clean. "

"I don't know how Expedia could list such a property on its website. The property is indicated as a backpacker establishment but it is more a boarding house for the down and out. The premises were filthy and unsanitary, the carpet was solid with dirt and sticky, the sheets had blood stains on them, there was rubbish and boxes lying everywhere in the common areas. I felt unsafe. When I told the proprietor that I wanted to leave she insisted on taking a cancellation fee. There was nothing else...

"The twin room was next to the kitchen where people came in and had very loud concersations until 2.30am and the first people in the morning arrived at 6.30am. The only windows where to the kitchen and the hallway and there was no fresh air. Over all too hot and too noisy to get enough sleep."
