"Perfect place to explore Carmel. Quaint but still enough space for the 4 of us. Loved being able to hear ocean sounds from back deck. Beds were comfortable. Beach is lovely."

Not all rooms come with parking so check first. They are strict about 11am checkout, even when they aren't booked up."

"Perfect place to stay to see our daughter at DLI. She was able to stay with us for the weekend and found the Murphy bed comfortable. The kitchen & living room tables were perfect for playing family games that we brought with us and the grill and hot tub were awesome. Location worked well to explore Big Sur & Monterey. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again if we came back."

"We stay at this guest house at least yearly and it never disappoints. The host is very thoughtful and has made sure everything is available for your stay. The Keurig coffee machine even has a “shot” size that is perfect for a packet of instant oatmeal. The location is quiet with great onsite parking and is centrally located so it’s easy to get to any of the Monterey Bay area attractions. Seaside has grown and there are excellent restaurants and brewery in town."

"We liked everything about this classic, updated motel. Service was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We had a standard, amply-sized room with a fireplace as a bonus, at an affordable rate. Feels like a mid-century California coastal motel, in a row of similar places down the road. It was a little bit of a walk, not terrible, to the downtown and Cannery Row locations. We walked throughout of our 3-day stay without trouble. We'd stay at the Arbor Inn again to visit lovely Monterey."

"Our experience at this hotel was terrible. It was impossible to contact them before arriving. When we did arrive after 6 hours in the car they would let us use a restroom and it would be 3 hours until check in. The woman kept adding a day to my stay. And as I requested a downstairs room for the 5th time she put me upstairs. Another woman working said they need a downstairs room. So finally we did get the downstairs room. "Very nice property very clean uncomfortable. Three adult couples were very comfortable there since we each had our own bathrooms. We all slept well on the comfortable beds. The bedroom nearest the kitchen and the garage was a bit chilly and we were not able to raise the heat. Also, in that bedroom there were some ants. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and I would recommend this space for three couples or a family of six."

"House is woefully in need of many minor repairs. Wall sockets in bedrooms need to be replaced. Most important issue is slippery bathtubs with no grab rails. One shower has see through window to outside. We had to hang a towel outside to block it. Another shower had no light, bulb needs replacing.
