"After a rather pot holed approach road to the site you are greeted by a terraced bungalow complex. On my second night I discovered there is accommodation in the attic with bare floor boards- I had a rather noisy person above me! These should be carpeted as a courtesy to those on the ground floor.The person who checked me in was pleasant but not thorough with information. I met her in the grounds as I was checking out and her dog was growling at me.My room was adequate and nicely carpeted with...

"We liked our room which was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very helpful. There was a little noise on Friday evening, but then you would expect that at a pub. "

Apparently they have a temporary manager at present and it is clear they need an experienced and enthusiastic professional to maximise its potential. "

"The new owners have only been there since March 2024 so any previous reviews are for others and not relevant. Customer service was second to none and couldn't have been better. Very accommodating to dietary requirements. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Lovely atmosphere. Decor is a little tired in places but easily remedied. Shower pressure in my room was very low but others in our group were happy with theirs."

"Room 3 The room was cold the widows seal was letting in a cold draft. Thery is no chair in the room. I found a slug on the floor next to the fridge their mould in the bathroom and by the entrance to the room in the kitchen. Constant banging doors as other tenants enter the kitchen. Noise from tenants using the kitchen and the smell of food."

"This BnB is easy to find and the couple are very welcoming. Nice quality of breakfast food, cooked fresh to order. No shampoo and body wash provided as it's a budget price, but it still represents excellent value. Very comfy bed, fluffy white towels and plenty hot water / good shower pressure. "From start to finish, Tracy and Jerry could not do enough. Their beautiful home was so welcoming and comfortable, it was a pleasure to stay there. The breakfast was extensive and fabulous and so tasty too! They had covered all the small touches and nothing was too much trouble. "Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

"A lovely private get away if you need to unwind and relax this is the place , cosy and warm , bed comfy and outdoor space amazing with hotub and garden area . My only compliant is lack of storage for own food but guess it is a sherpards hut , we will return it's just what we needed after a busy Christmas"
